| My work reflects life around me on Northern California’s quiet Mendocino Coast, not so much for its coastal subjects, but for the calming mood of the ocean and the play of light on the land and in the trees. I like to spend most of my time outside and marvel at the "paintings" all around me. Frequent travel enhances my range of subjects.
I am particularly interested in the light as it shines through in magic moments to remind us all of God's creation and presence. I work from plein aire studies produced on location and from my own photographic reference material which I then interpret through my experience of the subject.
